Fashion Week in Paris is currently underway and yesterday Balenciaga debuted their new Fall/Winter 2020 collection. The show was held in the Cité du Cinema film studio complex in Saint Denis, a suburb north of Paris. They created an apocalyptic world with an LED screen background showing different extreme weather conditions and the models walking on a flooded runway. This bold and dramatic runway was a metaphor for the world in which we live in, to raise awareness for climate change and how it’s affecting it.
