So far, after setting up almost everything today, seeing my space I have been working on for months come to life has really assured my confidence in my work and I am so pleased everything has gone to plan so far. The space is coming together exactly how I wanted it to and I am overall really happy and proud of the work I have produced. I am so glad I not only created the video but managed to create the timeline lampshade and source the right size clothing rail to put all the garments used In my video into the space along with the chair and the blazer my grandad was wearing for the interview. I am really lucky he agreed to let me use all of these materials as I feel it makes my space tie everything together nicely and as an audience create a sense of warmth and understanding when entering my exhibition space.

I was really pleased that another student today who obviously didn’t know anything about my project beforehand was looking at my space and said it made her feel exactly like she was sitting in someones living room and she particularly said an older person which is exactly the sense I have been wanting to create! This has reassured me in all my hard work paying off and seeing my concepts visually now has made me fee a lot more at ease!
