Last tutorial

On Tuesday, I had my last tutorial with Emma, I brought the styling zine I assembled yesterday and we had a look at it together. I explained that uni print lab doesn’t do wire binding but the outside print service charge too high so I do the wire by myself but it looks not very clean. Emma suggested me some print service and advised that I should think about my budget and printing options if I want to continue with this binding for my FMP.

We talked a little bit about the statement of intents, which Emma break it down very easy to understand. Now I also have to prepare 10-12 slide for my last presentation on Tuesday. Emma advised me that I should bring my physical work to the presentation day so tutor can have a look at it.

I then later on got some ring hook from amazon and I started to connect them together to create the binding which I found easier to flip.

Here you can see I change to the ring hook and I even cut the tracing image and connect them together again to represent the ideas of ‘construct and reconstruct identities’
I’m very enjoy the process making this zine and the tracing paper print is really help making the zine more interesting.
Me and Emma also discuss about the FMP in the future which I want to pursue stylist and art director position, I will try my best to organise/planning shoot and connect with other creatives for collaborations.
