Part B, Conclusion to field trip

I’ve learnt a lot exploring London’s architecture by myself on different transport services. There has been a diverse range of styles and periodic buildings. Many have been influenced by eastern architecture and many of the modern buildings in London now use glass and steel for the main building materials. I thoroughly enjoyed going round St Paul’s Cathedral and experiencing the feel of history throughout the interior.

There are a few buildings I saw but didn’t not know the names of but am going to research which interested me. Like the one above which a friend told me she was going to study film at so I presume its a college of some sort. It is located next to the O2 Arena outside Greenwich Station.

An interesting building I saw as I walked over to the tube station

Another building which I found was I walked to the London bridge tube station which was a spectacular block with a beautiful reflective mirror front. It must be an office building.

An interesting photo I took of this square reflective building.

An interesting photo I took of this square reflective building.

I got a wonderful photo of it from bellow looking up through a triangular shaped opening which reflects the blue sky and light creating a beautiful entrance to the building.

Overall I have had a brilliant experience and cant wait to experience architecture from other cultures and countries.
