When finding two images that complement each other, we focused on the colour blue and vehicles. We decided to take images from a eye level shot so that the images were directly focused on the subjects in the different images. When taking the photographs we focused on the aperture/shutter speed. We mainly used a shutter speed of 1/8 and the aperture was mainly on f/8, this obviously changed depending on the lighting outside; but the ISO was always kept at 400. We changed the aperture/shutter depending on the camera meter readings, which we always kept at 0.
When choosing the objects to use to complement each other we focus on halves of vehicle/modes of transport that are blue. The composition in both images works really well because of the aperture/shutter used. The lighting in each image has worked well and natural lighting was used for both images. I think that the position of the subjects/objects in each images has worked quite well too, to complement each other. The colours in the background of each image are similar too, very neutral, cool tones are presented.
