When I experimented with the camera previously I discussed how I worked on the ISO, aperture value and shutter speed. I focused on this when taking these photographs too. When I took all of my photographs I took them on the manual setting on the camera, so I had to make sure that the aperture value and shutter speed were correct so that the composition in the photographs worked. In these photographs I also wanted to work with the lighting available. In these photographs and the photographs for my portfolio I had to use natural lighting because I was taking pictures of the landmarks/landscapes.
I do like how these photographs worked out, I think that the lighting works quite well on each of the photographs. The composition of the photographs works well. The second image the main subject in the photograph looks like he is imitating the ‘Angel of the North’ which I really like because it is a landmark in Sunderland. When taking these photographs I learnt different skills when using the camera and these photographs helped to inspire me when I took my landmark/landscape photographs.
