Michal Solarski is a London based photographer, he studied in Poland where he was born; that is where these pictures were taken. Michal takes many portraits of his friends and uses his surroundings to reflect those portraits; he uses quite vulgar themes like sex and violence but the images he takes dont show them in a vulgar way, I like how he hardly has anyone looking into the camera; and the ones he does have give a very direct mode of address and make me feel in the moment, I want to use these methods in my own work and show raw emotions with my friends instead of just portraits I want to show our surroundings so the audience can see what we are seeing.
