Athens Trip – GIF

Last weekend I went to Athens, and while I was there had these two photos taken which inspired to make this GIF:

Life Drawing

Taking weekly Life Drawing has definitely developed my drawing skills and enable me to look at the human form in a different way. During these sessions we looked at blind drawing, partial peek drawings, use of media (such as pen, inks, graphite) and contours.

Prints Using Analogue Photography

Using the Threshold effect in Photoshop, I made my analogue photograph black and white (influenced by pop art and Warhol). I have then gone on to produce a series of prints with a variety of backgrounds (warm & cold colours, complimentary colour combinations, inks) using brusho inks and acrylic paints.

Analogue Photography

Having never done analogue photography before, I really enjoyed the process. As I am looking at make-up and art, I looked at photographs and graffiti (because of the brush stokes and patterns). Make-Up As Art

For my next project, I have the opportunity to create and produce my own Zine. I have chosen for my theme to be looking at the link between make-up and art. Below, is my starting point image by Patrice Murciano, which caught my eye due to the intense colours and combination of paint and illustration.
