Adverts

Below are a series of adverts that I created for the magazine, that are aimed at the demographic of the magazine:

Tropicana Garden

This shoot is based on the Spring/Summer 18 WGSN trend Psychotropical, which drops during te mid-summer season and so is perfect for the June issue. The styling was based on the sub-trends, and also matched the model’s skin-tone. I chose to use a size 14, Black model to represent the ethnicity in the editorials, and…

DE FACTO Business Cards

The business cards for the magazine provide a way for the public to engage with the magazine brand. After many developments and experiments (see sketchbook), I chose on the design below. This feature the clear logo, in the brand’s eye-catching colours.

DE FACTO – Behind-the-Scenes

Portfolio Website

Below is the sitemap for my portfolio website (louiseijones.myportfolio.com). Breaking the website down into specialism sections makes it easy to navigate. Sitemap louiseijones.myportfolio.com-19k4pm8 As you can see from the image below, I have kept my branding consistent to ensure unity across my own brand, through my logo and fonts.

Final Personal Logo

Below is my final personal logo, chosen from my logo development experimentation. I chose this for its ‘offerings’ font, which is unique and quirky with its upside down ‘S’, and also because it neatly fits in a grid shape. I also like the two parallels of the J and L back to back.

Creole Climate

This shoot is part of the Culture Club editorial of DE FACTO magazine, and this month we investigated Creole culture. Having researched their traditional dress and native designers for the previous FMP research model, I decided to use it as a basis in my styling choices, such as narrative clothing, bright colours and flowing garments….
