Magazine Branding

When considering the branding of the magazine, I wanted a clear colour palette and font family.

For the colours I chose pink, orange and turquoise, as well as black and white. I feel that whilst these colours contrast, the also compliment each other and are strong.

For the fonts, after experimenting with different typefaces (see sketchbook), I chose to use Century Gothic for the body copy as a clear sans serif font. To contrast, I paired that with the serif font Playfair Display to use for all headings, except editorials (each will have own font to suit concept).
