Blazer – Object: Experimentation

With the blazer cut up, we experimented with shapes and images:

• The black blazer against the white reminded me of night and day. I have always loved skylines and so created a skyline silhouette with the blazer pieces.
• Weaving the blazer represents the fact that the blazer is made of fabric, and that fabric is made by weaving.
• We made the blazer show the form of a figure, as people wear blazers.
