In your module select the panopto video link in the left hand sidebar, then select the cog icon to open the module level settings for panopto.

Select settings and under availability check “when approved by a publisher”

When you add a video from now on you will get an email that will enable you to approve a video before it is published. Select the second link.

it will take you to  panopto and offer you the option of approving the video or rejecting the video

Who does this?

Currently not many people use this feature as it adds another step to an already substantial  workload, however if you want edit videos, or check them for caption accuracy before they are released, this feature may be useful. More detailed guidance is available on the panopto site
