In a My Studies (studentcentral) module where you have a video select the ‘view in panopto’ link.

Select the ‘stats’ link from the top right of the screen.

Revel in the marvellous viewing figures. For greater detail scroll down and download the reports, or select a ‘Viewer’ to see their overall engagement.

Who does this?

You can use the stats to get an idea of overall engagement- whether people are looking at your stuff. The detailed reports give an idea of how long people watch, and may help highlight topics in the video that people struggle with and give up.
