If you’ve stuck a bunch of enormous images into a word doc, you can apply image compression to reduce the file size.

Select File>Reduce File Size

Select an image quality from the handy presets, then select ‘OK”

That’s it.

Who does this?

Hardly anyone, which is why some documents are so huge.
