Here are a few trials I created for my CV, although the changes on each are quite minimal, I always find the smallest changes are the hardest to decide on! Originally the font for the body of text was a courier/ typewriter style which I really liked the look of. However, I felt this text didn’t really fit with my other content such as my website and postcards, so I went for a bolder font instead. As you can see I also experimented with colour, I wanted to unsure my CV stayed looking professional so I felt I had to be minimal with the use of colour, I did use it for my name and title. However, after some reflection I felt this was a little gimmicky and decided to stay with only using colour on the margins which I think is successful! In future once I gain more experience I may consider lessening the amount of responsibilities I list in my ‘experience’ section, and instead list all the positions I have had instead. I think in future it might be more important to see the variety of my job history rather than details of the responsibilities I was given.
