I currently have 5 days left until hand in, and I am reflecting on something I have found hard throughout my whole degree which is knowing when to stop creating. For example, for my dissertation I knew once I had reached my word count and written all my chapters it was time to stop writing more content and I focused on editing it all. However, I feel with fashion communication I always have more ideas I think of that I want to create. Throughout university I have often acted on these ideas and created content right until the last minute. This often leaves me with minimal time to actually read through all my work and reflect. This is why I have come up with a plan this time, I aim to finish creating and editing all my work by this Friday. That means I will have all weekend to export and reflect and read through my work. I am actually quite excited to do this, as I have never really viewed my work without having the mindset ‘what else do I need to add.’ Instead I will be viewing my work and taking it all in, with the aim to correct only small errors I may find.
