Out of all the work I have created for this module the one part I am really struggling with is creating business cards. I am not too sure why, it might be because in my head I assumed they would be really simple and easy to make and I underestimated the thought and process that goes in to making them. I really struggled with aspects such as what to call myself on them. I am unsure if I would class myself as a stylist, fashion artist, creative, creative director? I feel I create lots of things and don’t want to pin myself to one route as in the future I may want to explore other things also. Another issue I am struggling with is what imagery to include, I am worried that if I include an illustration on my business card, employers will automatically assume I am an illustrator, which I am not. However, I think illustrations are a nice background for business cards? I feel I just need to explore with more options and create lots of variety of business cards. Hopefully I will be able to find somewhere that allows me to print a few designs at once, so I will be able to have a variety of cards I can hand out depending on the occasion / employer.
