Reflecting on my work so far. Currently I have 2 weeks left until hand in, I feel like I have created a lot of content as I have been continually creating every day. However, as I was more in the beginning stages of my project before lockdown began I do always feel a bit worried. I had a few big styling editorials planned to shoot a week after lockdown so obviously I was not able to go ahead with this. I have seen other people had shot a few editorials before lockdown so they had more content to work with during this time. Because of this I have made sure I have created lots of work and re-imagined what editorials can look like. Thinking of this situation in a positive way, I really don’t think I would’ve got as creative as I have with my work if this situation hadn’t happened. Although it has brought many negative impacts to life in general, it has also taught me to have more confidence in myself and my skills. I was convinced when we were told that uni has closed and we will have to create our whole projects from home, that mine was going to be rubbish, and that I was going to have to submit something I am not proud of at all. When in reality although my project is missing some aspects that I would’ve liked to include I am proud of the work I have created, and I am proud of my work ethic that I didn’t give in and be negative, instead I kept pushing and I really feel I have created some nice pieces of work.
