  • Established nursing society – By studying nursing at Brighton, you’ll be able to join the amazing BSU Nursing Society. This society welcomes students in all areas of nursing and those from other allied health care profession courses. This is an excellent resource not only to attend social events and connect with your peers, but also to participate in charity efforts and academic events to network with other health professional societies.
  • Participate in Schwartz Rounds – Founded in the USA, Schwartz Rounds are being adopted in clinical settings across the UK and offer a unique opportunity to attend facilitated sessions listen to stories and share reflections in a supportive and confidential environment. At Brighton our rounds and are designed to support you through the emotional, ethical and social aspects of the clinical world and act as a resource to combat the stresses of student life, whilst preparing you for your career.
  • International and national placement opportunities – Real world experience is especially valuable as a graduate nursing student, that’s why we offer varied placements in both hospital and community settings, plus an opportunity to experience nursing overseas on an international placement in year 2 or 3.
