1986: Hastings Urban Conservation Project (HUCP) formed
A partnership project by East Sussex County Council, Hastings Borough Council and English Heritage to promote building conservation. Converted in 1990 to the independent Hastings Trust. For more information visit: hastingstrust.net
1952: Old Hastings Preservation Society formed
