My Personal Reflective Blog for our Monzo Presentation
Dear Viewers,
This blog I will be looking at my experience from working in a group to complete the digital marketing group presentation, which was based on a new online banking company, Monzo. I will be evaluating the overall performance of the group, talking about the contributions we have all made toward the final presentation. We will be presenting this, this following week.
My contribution towards the presentation was to research and compile the slides for the competitor analysis, intermediary analysis and the marketing mix. I also contributed towards the business model and the online value proposition. We also all decided to contribute equally to the main parts of the presentation, enabling us to play to our strengths, giving us an overall strong presentation.
Pictured below is our original plan.
When reviewing our plan, it was greatly beneficial to produce one that was clear and precise. When we originally met up with our group to produce the plan, we all agreed it would be best to complete it via Google docs. This enabled us to share it with all the group members and for us to make continues edits, this ensures all group members are up to date with the latest plans!
One difficulty that came to fruition, after we had completed the plan, was that we had to welcome a fourth member into our group. We had to be adaptable and change our plan accordingly, giving the new member some responsibility so they felt included.
However, some tasks that were completed by members of the group could’ve been done a lot earlier and more efficiently. Instead of members leaving tasks to last minute. Ideally, they could’ve been more efficient with their time handling, giving us more time to familiarise ourselves with the slides to make our presentation run smoother.
Below is a short YouTube clip that could be beneficial for the members to improve their time management skills in the future
Ultimately, I believe that our completion of the presentation was a success, ensuring that all required sections were completed, with adequate amount of information provided on all sections. however, we could’ve shown greater levels of teamwork that would make the task run much smoother.
