Here are my final cover/ sub cover designs for my zines (online and paper edition.) I chose to keep the colour palette muted and neutral so I used soft pale greys. My main front cover (on the far right) is the design which I used for both the online and paper edition. It was made from handmade paper which had a lovely texture to it and finished off with my laser cut masthead design and velvet ribbon. I felt these were appropriate mediums to use because they have tactile qualities so therefore immediately encourages the viewer to touch and get an insight into the zine. I am pleased with how these came out. The design in the middle only features in my paper edition and appears as a hand written page, which I feel makes it more personal and the far left design is for my online edition and originally was hand written and later adapted on the computer for the online version.
