portfolio visual identity inspiration

In order to create my portfolio, I felt it was important to begin my exploring some visual ideas and inspiration. I looked into colour palettes, layout and typography ideas. I created a mood mood to display some of my ideas below.

I have chosen to display my art direction/ magazine skills within my portfolio, therefore, some of my pages are taken from my FMP final outcome (oaf magazine.) Furthermore, it is also important for me to ensure I display my key skills within layout, design and typography, considering my target employers.

I have also been thinking about making sure that there is a clear sense of consistency throughout my portfolio work, including website, business card, postcard and cv. Therefore, I have made sure I will pick a suitable font and aesthetic to suit all forms of promotion.
