In order to create my magazine, it was important to have a strong idea of the desired visual identity, including layout, colour palette and typography. I experimented with various fonts and colours to find something suitable for my logo/ name of magazine. I mated something which was bold and bright, creating a contrast to the clean, minimalistic layout inside. Below you can click on the links and view my experiments.
In the end, I decided to choose Chantel font, in green for the name of Oaf magazine. for the body texts/ headers, I used mono 45 headline and minion pro. I think they work well together and suit the nordic aesthetic.
