As part of the portfolio project, I have been exploring a variety of websites in order to find a potential platform to use to display my work/ portfolio.

I have explored both free and paid websites to analyse the platforms out there and make comparisons in relation to features available, layouts on offer and monthly fees.

My current website is with WordPress, which is therefore a positive as I am familiar with it and I find it easy to navigate around. On another plus note, it is free. However, after exploring some of the alternative websites out there, I feel I prefer the layouts of Squarespace. Despite it being a paid website, I feel it would suit my visual identity, it is easy to use, which I discovered with the help of a free trial and they offer student discount, which I feel makes this website an affordable price.
