This double page spread in my sketchbook was inspired by a workshop we attended recently. The workshop was encouraging us to analyse magazines, particularly looking into their content, mood captured, demographics, price etc. I therefore, decided to use this exercise with one of the magazines which I feel is inspirational and influential to my magazine research. This magazine is ‘In Clover’, which is a fashion and lifestyle magazine with a simple and clean layout. The reason I chose this magazine was not only the layout of the pages but also the content, in particular the landscapes and appealing recipes. This is something I feel we will look into in our project.
