In my final mood board, I was focused on natural beauty. styling ideas and artist inspiration. This is highlighted through the dazed and confused freckle project, which I felt was relevant in terms of looking at natural beauty and the idea of encouraging acceptance of our imperfections or features we do not like, which is a potential focus in our magazine. Additionally, I chose to document the work of Shaun Harris as his minimalistic style is something we may focus on. Additionally, the overall composition of the image is something that I feel relates to our idea of anxiety and other mental health issues. I feel by not seeing the models face and having a garment which finishes half way up the head suggests these aspects. I chose to document Li Elderkoort’s Bloom project because I felt after looking into her work, it inspired me to possibly experiment with materials.
