I recently completed a photoshoot as part of the work towards my look book. As shown in the selected images, I documented 8 different looks ( 2 for each macro trend.) Before we started, we made sure the lighting etc was correct so that we had successful outcomes. few test shots helped us to improve these aspects. Keeping the lighting and background simple along with the poses allowed me to highlight the looks and add my additional work later when creating the look book. Overall, I felt like the shoot was successful and I am pleased with the images I have chosen to use for the look book. The travel macro trend inspired me to look at tropical/jungle prints. The two looks are very different, which showed the diversity within this print. The first look with the dungarees is a youthful look, influenced by the 90s whilst the second trend is feminine and sophisticated. Additionally, for the childhood inspired looks I was influenced again but the 90s a little and the soft pastel colours I associate with my childhood. The technology looks were quite difficult to create as it wasn’t easily possible to highlight eh futuristic combination of fashion and technology so I decided to focus on the associations I have with the future. I came up with metallic colours. Furthermore Double denim and flare trousers became the icons of my last macro trend – vintage.
