Today I attended a collage workshop where we were asked to experiment with the idea of collage as part of our development towards our fanzine. In this collage, I used various cut outs of magazines, some torn and some neatly cut to create a contrast and a busy visually pleasing piece of work. To add a comedic and fun twist, I placed out of place heads on the figures bodies as well as using bold colours. If I was to create another one for my zine, I wouldn’t allow it to be a busy by using images that I feel are key and capture my theme.
