Women In Leadership Series – First event 29 June 2022

Launched on International Women’s Day at the School of Business and Law, the Women in Leadership Series is an initiative to showcase women leading transformational change. This representation is inspirational and critical to advancing gender justice and gender equality.

“The Women in Leadership Series builds on the success of the School of Business and Law in achieving the Athena Swan, Bronze Award.  This series addresses the identified necessity for visible role models, through guest speakers and training.

The series will also strengthen the mission and vision of the school, by supporting both inclusion and thought leadership.  It places diversity at its heart and welcomes all staff and students to benefit from inspirational speakers and training.” Adaeze Okoye, EDI Lead

On Wednesday 29th June, the School of Business and Law will be hosting the first in the Series at Elm House, Room 103/104 from 3-6pm.

There will be a keynote delivery from Veronica Povey, Finance Director (Head Office and Strategic Programmes) at the Ministry of Defence and a Leadership Personal Development session.
