Capturing the first week at University was, I felt, a slightly different experience for me as I am from Brighton; whilst I was experiencing University for the first time, I wasn’t exploring a new city or living on my own. Because of this, I chose to present my Freshers Week from both sides: with parts showing the new, exciting experiences of University, but also my normal, everyday routine including taking a busy bus and working at the weekends. As well as this, I wanted to focus on sounds and not just the visuals as I haven’t really identified or considered my surroundings in this way before.
