Adaptive Sportswear Research

 

Researching into past sportswear brands marketing campaigns and this is by far the best! Nike’s archive of marketing campaign’s all follow a similar trend of being some form of interactive event, where the consumer can interact with the product. I think their ideas are really innovative and use advanced technology to make their products more desirable. They are also clever at creating a lighthearted, fun interactive game. Bearing this in mind for my future outcome, I want to create an interactive social space that promotes a brands product in a clever innovative way.

Instagram Experiments

Whilst looking for a poem to use as a voice over for the fashion film I am co-directing, I found this poem. Initially, I had intended it to go for the fashion film as I felt a husky deep-toned voice would complement the visuals we had captured for the film, however as I’m no longer doing the film I didn’t want this to go to waste so put it into a short film context.

I think it is equally as successful put with this series of streetwear to help tell a story of us all. My first layout for this video had the text sat at the bottom of the images but I re did it to have them sit in the middle and be more noticeable as I felt they got lost when they were at the bottom.

Video Experiments for Portal Instagram’s BTS

Here is my first outcome of BTS for Instagram. I kept it short to 10 seconds as I wanted to capture the audience without spoiling the content, I don’t believe the music goes therefore I need to look into other effects for the background. Also, maybe better in black and white following on from the feed aesthetic of the build-up of the tension of what’s coming.
