One of the next stages of this project was about staring to explore analogue photography using film cameras and the dark room.  This was a really exciting area for me to explore as this style of photography is something i have never had the opportunity to do before. The first stage of this process involved learning hoe to use the analogue cameras, this was all about experimenting with the exposure, aperture and shutter speed of the camera and learning to combine these element together in order to create the best outcome for the photograph depending on result and effect i was looking for within each image.

I was set the tack of taking a range of photographs using the analogue cameras, this photographs included fast shutter speed. slow shutter speed. Then looking at creating an image with a small depth of field and a large depth of field. I really enjoyed this challenge as it gave me the opportunity to learn about using the camera in a practical way.

The next stage of this process was about developing these photos into contact sheet in the dark room. This was again another interesting process for me as this was something i never done before so enjoyed the opportunity to learn. The aspect of the dark room i found hardest was remembering the correct order the printing process was done in. I also enjoyed experimenting with exposing the photographs for longer and shorter amounts of time in order to create lighter and darker effects within the photographs. Overall i really enjoyed this process and still feel i have a lot to learn and develop within the dark room too.
