I have been experimenting with garments on the human body and ‘morphing’ into irrational fear and phobias. These are four of my most successful images around this theme. I began by taking photos of my model in the fashion communication photography studio in specific poses to replicate the body of different insects. To do this I used Photoshop to remove the face and smooth out the body. I used the lasso tool to crop around the shape of the garment on the body and then placed it on the blue background I created from my previous photos. I then used the blur tool to smooth out and create a paint like effect on the body. I then positioned them to look like humans morphing into insects. This was a very time-consuming process however I am very pleased with the final outcome.
