So far in my project, i have carried out research into photographers and authors such as Barbara ehnbrenreich, to understand more into my theme of rave culture and scenes surrounding in them. I found barbaras talk really interesting as she explained why do people come together and celebrate at events, and how its in human nature for people to do so. Despite my documentive photography that i’m carrying on from my research project, I wanted to step out the box and explore more into creating photoshoot, creating a festival photoshoot which explored female fashion. Pleased with this outcome, my next steps are to see if i can develop it more by experimenting with masculine fashion in festivals.
For my project wise and my end exhibition, The main ideas that i have are creating a space for people to come together and experience the atmosphere of the images, but i’d want to somehow blend my photographs with my editorial styling photographs, which i’m not too sure how to do it but i’m thinking maybe creating my own top with images and branding on, to promote being together and then possibly carrying out a photoshoot with the top.
