Tate Modern
On our way to the Georgia O’Keefe exhibition we stopped and pondered for a while at the new Turbine Hall installation. There has been a significant move recently, it would seem, toward Fine Art puzzling at themes such as time and space. This was no exception and the Hyundai Commission by Phillipe Parreno (Anywhen) did not disappoint. Lying on my back on the cushioned carpet that had been laid down for the event, my senses were tickled with noises of plains and running water by the speakers suspended above my head. Moving panels altered the environment, moving up and down to either extend or limit the space around you. It was incredible.
