CARTOGRAPHERS OF INTRIGUE: DAY TWO

Day Two we got on with creating our piece! I started sewing the scraps of fabric to make the lining for the bin whilst the rest of the group finished their strings of drawings. Half an hour before the crit we made our way to the grounds of the pavilion to set up our work under a willow tree.

The piece was great fun, our group got along well and our piece was well received. I’d really like to experiment more with using material on the back of this piece, and after deciding to leave the piece in the gardens it was intriguing to think of the possibilities linked to public interaction.
