Brighton moves up to 6th for education!

The Guardian University Guide 2024 arrived this week and we’re thrilled that education courses at Brighton are now 6th in the UK in their rankings – a climb of two places!

We couldn’t be prouder of all of our achievements in the education subject area:

• 10th in the UK and 2nd in the south-east for education graduate prospects – Complete University Guide 2024
• In the UK top 20 for education courses – The Times League Tables 2023
• UK top 15% for graduate earnings in education and teaching three years after graduating, among universities with comparable entry levels – Longitudinal Education Outcomes 2022
• Rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted for primary, secondary and early years initial teacher education
• Rated ‘good’ by Ofsted for further education initial teacher education
• In education, 100% of our research impact is assessed as outstanding or very considerable in terms of its reach and significance in the 2021 Research Excellence Framework.
