The School of Education Curriculum Centre has once again been chosen to host a collection from the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY). IBBY is a non-profit organization which represents an international network of people from all over the world who are committed to bringing books and children together.

Fifty two books from the IBBY Honour List 2016 will be on display from mid-December 2016 to mid-January 2017. These are a set of illustrated children’s books which have been carefully chosen as the best example of a recently published book from each IBBY member country around the world. Hosting this collection represents a unique opportunity for staff and students to view and handle a diverse and exciting set of children’s books published in less familiar countries such as Armenia, Haiti, Palestine, Iceland, Venezuela and United Arab Emirates, as well as those from more familiar countries such as Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and Canada.
