After my project hand in I wanted to have some time away from the project to gain new insights and inspirations. I decided to take up an internship at a magazine which I’ve always loved and admired for their innovation and pure creative vision when it comes to their content. Thank magazine also has a sister magazine called becauselondon.com, which exciting me as I arrived they were about to re-launch it into a completely virtual space, that can be used in conjunction with VR technology, allowing the user to explore the shoots and content in a new and improved format which is very much fitting with the times. In my first week I assisted on two shoulder on green screen which was party dresses and costume jewellery. I also chose the direction for the make up and hair for these looks as well as being the onset dresser for both shoots. I further assisted in calling in all the product and leasing with the brands ans PRs. Below you will see my hair and make up mood boards, this was useful for me to do as now when it comes to my own shoots I understand how to communicate with the HMU efficiently.
