For the main Campaign of Balenciaga Beauty I used a green screen, three models and created bold make up looks which I believe represent Balenciaga as a brand well, all cool and sophisticated yet daring. The images below show some of the prep and looks I went for.
I also found some of the organisation tricky with this shoot as the models I had booked all changed their times and one didn’t show up. So I had to find people on the day to replace them. I think it was hard because I had pre chosen the models and worked my looks clothing and makeup all around them as an individual so some of the clothes maybe weren’t definitely correct for the models I had in the end. But this taught me to be prepared for any big last minute change. For instance with the weather, this shoot was meant to be outside so that we could get the most light possibly. But on the day it was heavily raining and extremely windy so I had to do it inside my house which didn’t have the best lighting.
But overall I am pleased with the outcome of these images and the video I created.
