Exciting update! – Student researchers welcome

The research team has expanded and now includes Joey Fanstone who is a final year Biomedical Student and if all goes well is heading over to Brighton and Sussex Medical School to embark on exciting medical career. It is vital that organ donation and transplantation is explored across all medical and health science courses. Research has shown that the curriculum does not sufficiently prepare graduates with the working knowledge of organ donation and transplantation.

“A cross-sectional survey of medical students and junior physicians in the United Kingdom shows that the majority perceive education and training in organ donation and transplantation are inadequate. The findings have implications for curriculum design and increasing organ donation rates.”
