I am a mature student studying Biomedical sciences at the University of Brighton. Happily married with 2 children, i enjoying singing, dancing and fire eating! I hope to follow a career path in hematology once i complete my degree. I have just passed my level 3 Phlebotomy training and i enjoy participating in webinars and extra curricular events in blood sciences and genetics. My specialisation in hematology is in rare diseases of heme metabolism, especially a family of very rare diseases known as the Porphyria's.
