My name is Vanessa Stone de Guzman and I’m a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Applied Social Science at the University of Brighton.  My research interests are mainly with disabled children and their families.  I am currently working on a funding bid to explore how kids with Down syndrome can be best supported in schools.  Other research is focusing on parent views of how people with Down syndrome are presented in the media.
