The Red House Children’s Book Award has 3 categories – younger children, younger readers and older readers. The award is voted for entirely by children so encourage your students to take part and vote for their favourite from the 10 shortlisted books. The winners will be announced 21st February 2015. I agree – it’s already a classic! Debi Gliori’s book Dragon Loves Penguin is also a lovely read.
