Now in its third year, the Little Rebel’s Children’s Book Award recognises outstanding radical fiction for children aged 0-12. ‘Radical’ is defined widely to include books informed by inclusive/anti-discriminatory concerns or those which promote social equality or social justice. There are 8 books on the shortlist this year:
