Professor Rameen Shakur, CoRE Director and Cambridge Heartwear Founder & Chairman and Director of Integrative Genomics Unit, University of Brighton participated at the ‘Healthcare and Biotech conference’ last week and was a moderator for the panel session ‘Biopharmaceutical Research and Manufacturing’. He also shared his insights as a panelist on ‘The Foundations and Application of Precision Medicine’.

The Economic Development Board of Mauritius organized the Healthcare and Biotech Conference. The event brought together 315 renowned local and international delegates, who are involved both directly and indirectly in this sector, and aimed to address key topics that are today influencing the global healthcare and biotech industries.
