University of Brighton alumnus Myfanwy Tristram is exhibiting work from her Protest Comics at One Church’s Reading Room from 2nd May. The work on display comes from Tristram’s contributions to the collection Draw the Line, self-published comic Sorry for the Inconvenience…, and forthcoming graphic novel The Noisy Valley (which was shortlisted for the 2023 First Graphic Novel Competition).
On Friday 2nd May, the launch event for the exhibition sees Tristram in conversation with “AFLO, the poet”, photographer Natasa Leoni, and fellow graphic novelist Karrie Fransman, as part of a panel discussion chaired by arts counsultant Amber Massie-Blomfield. The discussion is followed by music from local band Secret Archive.
