Explanation
For this workshop, we were given a presentation on the understanding and importance of our backdrops within our photography, we were instructed to bring in clothes to use for our trial shoot. We spoke as a group and came to the conclusion that this would be a great opportunity for Abbey to experiment with her Styling ideas, at this time we were going for more of a feminine angelic approach and tried to encapsulate genderfluidity, with the materials we had. For this, I aided with the photography and post edits as by this point I was still undertaking research. We were still unsure of the direction at this point but wanted to experiment.
For this shoot, Abbey brought in a wedding dress and a suit to depict an image that visually challenegd masculine and feminine norms. We also used flowers and bold backdrops to try to hint to surrealism. After all this was all an experiment and we were still quite fresh to the module.
