I’ve been playing around on illustrator with the pen tool to get some quirky illustrations. Here are my first attempts. I think I might include these or different ones that are similar in my zine to make it more interesting to read.

Zine Images
I have done a few photo shoots for my zine and have finalised the ones I will use. I have decided to have all my photos black and white and then have the colour of the zine pages pastel pink. These are a few of my favourite images so far.
V&A – Undressed
Whilst in the V&A, I saw the exhibition ‘Undressed’ being advertised, so thought I’d take a look around. This exhibition was a bit small but what was included was really interesting to see, however I wish there would have been more information about certain garments that stood out in the exhibition. I found it really interesting to see different underwear and corsets that women wore throughout history. I didn’t find anything that would influence my zine really but it was a good exhibition to go to.
V&A – So You Say You Want A Revolution?
Today I went up to London to go to the exhibition, ‘So you say you want a revolution’. I was really keen to see this exhibition because of all the fashion, film and political information that I could use for my zine or potentially find some inspiration for my zine. I found this exhibition extremely inspiring and interesting because of how interactive the whole experience was, mainly because when we arrived we were given headphones that narrated or played music to suit the part of the exhibition you were at.

Music Influences
For this photography and styling project, we have started looking into the use of psychedelics and alcohol to enhance or change ones perception of the world. We want to portrait this in our images so we have started looking at different music videos with the same aesthetic that we are looking for. The first music video we have looked at and taken inspiration from is the ‘LSD’ video by ASAP Rocky. The video has a ‘trippy’ vibe throughout, which is achieved by distorting some of the footage and having bright colours throughout. I think our final images will be heavily influenced by this music video and the meaning behind it.
